Mermaid's Rest is my new home, love it here! Moved in May 2017, have the rest of my life to get the home together and squared away, for now, we play.... outside, in the water, on the water, in the yard and just enjoy the peace and quiet all around us. We spend a lot of time sitting on the screened in porch and watching the wildlife around here. We've seen eagles, turkeys, deer, muskrats, snakes, ground hogs...

Woke up to the lowest tide I've seen in my river days. Had coffee with the neighbors as we still have no power and no ground java beans...
